Biography

Alex Reeder is a distinguished professional whose career, spanning over 25 years, includes impactful contributions in non-profit organizations, the health and fitness industry, and the field of education. His early career involved roles in sales and management within the health and fitness sector, eventually leading him to establish and manage a health spa and salon for nearly 15 years. There, he applied his expertise in crafting tailored fitness and nutrition programs and led a team dedicated to wellness.

Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Alex has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to community service through his extensive work with various outreach and recovery organizations. His efforts have been particularly focused on supporting individuals on their paths to personal and spiritual growth. As a director at a local Rescue Mission, he specialized in addiction and recovery counseling, playing a pivotal role in the administration of comprehensive resident based recovery programs for both men and women.

In 2016, Alex transitioned to the educational arena as a CTE teacher. He dedicated himself to preparing students for their future careers and higher education, employing personalized academic planning and instruction rooted in real-world experiences. Alex was also a critical part of getting J4CG / JAG services off the ground in Visalia and has worked recently in helping to update and improve our JAG Specialist Training. Alex is also nationally certificated as a Heart Math Instructor and has been a strong proponent of the TREC model in the central valley of CA.

Throughout his diverse career, Alex has earned recognition for his exceptional leadership abilities, securing various credentials and certifications in business, finance, and personal development. His talent for effective communication and leadership across a range of settings highlights his versatility and unwavering commitment to making a significant difference in the lives of those he interacts with.

Personal Statement

My name is Alex Reeder. I am deeply committed to inspiring and facilitating significant growth in both teams and individuals. Over the course of my extensive 30-year career, I have been fortunate to engage in roles that allow me to support people as they navigate their personal and professional journeys. This work has not only been a professional commitment but a personal passion, driving me to continuously find innovative ways to enhance the capabilities and opportunities of those I work with. Whether through direct mentoring, developing strategic initiatives, or leading by example, my career has been a rewarding adventure in empowering others. I am excited to continue this work with TREC.
